TUSCANY AT NIGHT

We travelled to Italy in celebration of my 50th birthday, focussing on Florence, Tuscany, and the northwestern Cinque Terre regions. In exploring the hill towns and farmlands of Tuscany, the Cyprus trees are constants, almost sentinels. The stories they could tell of kings and peasants, lovers and trysts.  They bear witness to history, without giving up their secrets.
