SWEET SLICES

SWEET SLICES will be included in the 2025 Women's Day exhibition at OMAH. The theme for the show is HOME and each piece of artwork will be accompanied by a story that relates it to the theme.  My story follows:
 
My Great Grandmother's Lemonade Syrup recipe has travelled through four generations. The recipe uses lemons and oranges, and a ton of sugar, and family lore suggests that it may have been served with a drop or two of gin. Spiked or otherwise, a glass of it is the perfect bane to a hot, humid day, and always reminds me of time spent with Grandparents in their home.
 
Copies of Grandma Grady's Lemonade syrup will be available at the show opening on April 27, from 1 to 3 PM.
