MARKET TOMATOES

I love the colours and patterns at farmers markets, and am always inspired when visiting one.
 
Tomatoes are in my DNA .... my father, paternal grandfather and great grandfather all had an active role in growing, harvesting and canning tomatoes. Look up Canadian !Canner and Innes (my maiden name). And my maternal grandfather worked with some of my father's family in some of the canning facilities they owned, and my maternal grandmother's father was an integral player in the Hamilton market several generations back.
